Alright...what the actual hell was going on with Enigma members these days? When Tony got his job as a lawyer, he thought he'd have to be all fancy in the court and defend his colleagues with style and facts and shit. But nope, today he was going to basically babysit someone's criminal record. Which he did acquire from his contacts all around the city. [break][break] The Italian suggested meeting up somewhere private, since it was a criminal's freedom in the game, one of his so called "mafia brothers". No room for errors or rookie mistakes, such as meeting in a bar or a local and risking having spies and other people eavesdrop. So Dega laid out on the table the idea of meeting at the warehouse, in one of the unused, but furnished, office. Ryan had his own, perhaps the Hands had one each, he had no idea, but he knew he had called dibs on this one for moments like this. Or sleeping with Enigma chicks. Anyway. [break][break] There were a few files and folders on top of the desk, a chair in front of it for any visitors, as well as a few pens and such. Anthony was sitting in his revolving chair (which was of great fun when he was bored on a client's case) and looking over the most current files from Aiden Walsh 's criminal record. God this dude had some paperwork done. [break][break] Once he would arrive at the warehouse and at the office, Aiden would be greeted by a standing Tony (formalities were in the Italian's blood, but he made efforts to see less formal, more bro like) with a hand extended for a handshake. "Thanks for wanting to meet here. I can tell you that it is a wise choice already." Because he would need days to elaborate on why talking in public was a bad idea. [break][break] Dega sat down once the handshake ended, and he grabbed a pen, placing his free hand on the paper expressing the police's "view" on this last adventure of Mr Walsh. Tony moved the end of the pen to his chin, loking at the file for a moment more before gazing at the man."Alright so..what the hell?" That was the fist thing to ask, in these circumstances. ulla [newclass=.itsover b]color:#00a26e[/newclass] [newclass=.oneword1]transition:1s;overflow:hidden;height:200px;width:450px;[/newclass] [newclass=.oneword1:hover .fromyou1]transition:1s;margin-top:0px;[/newclass] [newclass=.fromyou1]background-color:#2f2f2f;opacity:.8;font-family:arial;font-size:10px;color:#fff;padding:10px;margin-top:250px;width:150px;transition:1s;[/newclass] [newclass=.fromyou1 a]font-family:courier new;text-transform:uppercase;color:#00a26e;letter-spacing:1px;[/newclass]

What is happiness if all you know is anger? Lawyers, they were truly the worst thing in his life beyond going to the dentist and/or having to deal with angry boyfriends – or girlfriends – of people he was drunkenly hitting on… But Lawyers were certainly up there on the list of people he had an instant and strong aversion to, regardless of how they acted towards him.
Enigma’s ‘house-lawyer’ Tony Dega ticked all the boxes when it came to someone he would trust as far as he could throw him. He was Italian who somehow wasn’t loyal to Bianchi, at least that’s what he claimed. He was the kind of man that could charm a gay woman into becoming straight and straight men in turning gay. He was basically the perfect lawyer, and that was why he hated him.
Perfection was a joke, he was the very definition of being imperfect and seeing people that had ‘everything down to a tee’ was something that immediately filled him with mistrust. Someone as talented and succesfull as Tony Dega was not with Enigma to change things, he wasn’t there because he hated Bianchi. He was there because they were the best party in town when it came to financial benefits. And the moment that well dried up he would vanish and join whatever side paid him the most, like the mercenary he was.
And he knew full well that every single word he would tell the guy would probably immediately end up in the ears of Ruby Blackwood, the Israeli bitch that had come in with her coffers of money from god-knows where.
But just like going to the dentist, he had to suck it up and play along with his charade for his own good, and for the good of Enigma. And thus when he got into trouble and needed someone to make legal problems disappear, Tony Dega was the guy he had to talk to.
Even though he’d enjoy punching him in the face a lot more than talking.
After having shook the man’s hand, he sat his ass down on the chair opposite to his desk. Which had already been filled with his very thick and impressive dossier. “Please, leave the courtesy bullshit for the people that care.” ‘wise choices’, just the sort of person to act high and mighty towards the people that actually did the work, that actually worked for Enigma because they wanted to change things.
Leaning back in the chair, he took his time waiting on the lawyer to re-focus on his client. “The thing is, me and another person had a disagreement and he thought he could bottle me, so I returned the favour.” other than a few scrapes and bruises, he had been fine. The other guy, not so much.
Of course, with someone as well-known as him, the cops took liberties on the truth and had made up their mind the moment they had seen his name on the report. “Seeing the fucker drew on me, I was defending myself… or whatever.” he really didn’t care about the charge, but Enigma didn’t need him sitting in a cell for a few weeks to stew on his life decisions.
“I know you’re probably busy keeping high-ranking embezzlers away from justice, but I’m sure Enigma would appreciate you keeping my fine Irish ass out of jail.” as much as the former sounded like a joke, he knew that the guido prick in front of him was a big enough scumbag to work for the kind of people that earned their money off the backs of the little people.

Saying he had heard a lot about Enigma's Aiden Walsh would certainly be an understatement. There was not a day in the warehouse when people wouldnt drop the man's name in a not so satisfied manner, or context. Unless they were talking about a one night stand peobably, but all in all Aiden was known for being the grumpy one of the bunch, and also the not trusting one. Maybe he had his reasons, maybe he didnt, maybe those reasons were not well fonded; it was none of Tony's business. As long as he was not a difficult person to deal with on the field, then there should be no prpblems, and he was sure Aiden was more mature than that. [break][break] Dega's only concern was keeping every Enigma member out of trouble. No one is useful behind the bars, and even though long ago, his family had relations with the Bianchi (yet not so direct, nor so important), they still fucked up and pushed Anthony down the hate path. Nothing was wrong than being nudged to join a family business when you wanted nothing to do with those dirty rats. He could not say the same thing about his brother though, who nevertheless was one of the Bianchi. Not that Tony knew it though. [break][break] Tony's brows lifted and lowered themselves in a quick, acknowledging gesture, as Aiden rejected the whole polite part. So the grump begins. Or maybe just the not-much-team-spirit side of him was showing. Tony wasnt actually sure how much Walsh wanted to change as an Enigma, since he was not willing to do much team work, or so it seemed. He first took him as the lone wolf type of guy, but apparently the Italian was just half wrong. He tapped the pen to his chin once or twice as the man began explaining (though, as a lawyer, Dega was sure Aiden was watering down the story) how he ended up with another page in his record. So there was a brawl. Aiden made it sound like the other dude attacked him first, but what had the disagreement been about? "So it all started from a small disagreement? Do you remember what it was all about? Hopefully not a "i bet i can bottle you first" thing." Yeah, that would be sort of difficult to make it pass as self defense in the court. But the judge had to be objective when it comes to the people brought in, yet it didnt happen anymore if you showed your face around for more than 2 or 3 times. "He tried to bottle you, as an attacker, so you did not make any previous move, right? How did you hit back?" Dega had to note things down on a clean sheet of paper, to be able to collect as much information as possible to redirect the fault from his gang partner, to this mysterious other dude. Maybe if Aiden remembers a name, Tony can even talk to him and play a bit detective, try to see how to incriminate the dude if he cant save Walsh. [break][break] "That's my job, Aiden, keeping Enigma's record clean, and if that cant be fixed, at least keeping everyone out of a cold cell. You're no exception, and I dont stop at "trying my best" to keep you all out of the court. I'm not trying to sugarcoat it up, I'm just letting you know how things work. So if you could provide as many details from your story, and maybe if things dont look good for you, we can dump it all on the other guy, if we play our cards well." He spoke softly, hoping that would make Aiden put his hate on pause for a little bit while they solved this matter, and then he could resume it as much as he wanted. ulla [newclass=.itsover b]color:#00a26e[/newclass] [newclass=.oneword1]transition:1s;overflow:hidden;height:200px;width:450px;[/newclass] [newclass=.oneword1:hover .fromyou1]transition:1s;margin-top:0px;[/newclass] [newclass=.fromyou1]background-color:#2f2f2f;opacity:.8;font-family:arial;font-size:10px;color:#fff;padding:10px;margin-top:250px;width:150px;transition:1s;[/newclass] [newclass=.fromyou1 a]font-family:courier new;text-transform:uppercase;color:#00a26e;letter-spacing:1px;[/newclass]
