[googlefont="Amatic SC"] Fix what? Nothing is broken! So he was driving and also calling her miss. Calling her miss under no circumstance, no matter how tall he is. She may be small but she wasn't the type to let people walk on her feet. "Yes you can take care of the problem, but don't call me miss." one bad point for Brann, they better not stack up. She climbed into the car, sitting in the passenger seat. The way the man behaved made her hold back her habit of putting some music on. He partner in this wasn't supposed to be intimidating, and she had hoped that she could befriend the person working with her. But here, she was more afraid to speak and annoy the man. Add to that the stress of the mission and you get a very quiet Vienne. He had told her nothing bad should happen but she just didn't believe him. And she already felt useless. She was the little prey to deal with the predators so they don't feel threatened. It already felt like the world was ruled by predators anyway. Or at least the word she lived in was. It made sense in a way, no prey would be able to get up in the food chain in they didn't look pr act menacing. Vienne was neither, and so she stayed at the bottom, invisible to most but still lively.
The ride wasn't very long until something ended up going wrong. Out of all the things that could have happened, you wouldn't imagine that a flat tire would be one of them. The car started to turn slowly towards the side of the flat tire as Brann drove the car to the side to get them on the side of the road. Stuck on the highway. Now that was just great. Vienne wasn't even sure the car had a spare wheel in the trunk. If there wasn't any, then they were good for cancelling the trip or calling for help. But cancelling...what would happen if they cancelled? She needed to focus on that flat tire before getting too freaked out about the situation. "Dammit why?!" she whined before opening the door to get out, paying attention to the cars around still driving at a high speed. She crouched next to the flat tire with furrowed brows and a disappointed look. Biting her lip nervously she went to the back of the car to open the trunk and hopefully find a tire inside, and what they would need to change it, or fix the hole. In some more recent cars they had a special kit to coat the inside of the wheel in latex to fix the hole. But she doubted this car still had that kit.
After opening the trunk, she had to move away all the bags and boxes they were going to use to hide the guns, and that was the moment she realized how dangerous what she was about to do was. She shooed the thought away. Too late now Vee. She found a wheel! That was a very good news, but now was the question if there was something to keep the car up to change that wheel. And she got less luck on that one. Nothing, except perhaps Brann's arms. They could try to find enough big rocks on the side of the road to keep the car lifted. Silly idea really. Nope she would have to be persuasive and ask her partner to help wanting it or not. She took out the tools to change the wheel and started to remove the bolts holding the wheel in place in a rather fast series of motions. She then looked at Brann, getting up from her crouching position to desperatly try to be as tall as the man's chest. Even when a mouse stands on its hind legs it's still pretty tiny. "Do you think you could carry the car for two seconds? Two real seconds not two minutes. Maybe three seconds at most." yes she could change wheels that fast, no big deal.

[googlefont="Amatic SC"] Fix what? Nothing is broken! Doing a job she really didn't want to do. That's pretty much how one could describe Vienne's feeling about the job Ryan had thrown upon her shoulders. It's not that she didn't want to do a service for Enigma, but rather: She didn't want to get involved with firearms. However she understood why she was asked to do it. Compared to most people in Enigma, she looked innocent and not very bright. The type of person you wouldn't expect retrieving a stash of weapons for the entire Enigma family. Her mission was to drive out of town, meet with their contact and get the weapons. Payment had already been given, but that was the risk. Their contact could decide they didn't want to give away the weapons and betray their engagement, thus Vienne's presence. She was lucky enough that she was to be paired with another Enigma member to get help in case that situation happened. To be fairly honest, the mechanics woman was very anxious about this and had already prepared a tiny grenade...just in case.
She made her way to the 'garage' area of the warehouse, where her 'partner' was already waiting. It wasn't someone she had met before, but she had been told he was a good marksman, with a sniper that is. But hell was he tall. He was fifty centimeters taller than her at least! As she got closer and kept in a few words along the line of, lets go Everest. Yes it sounded exactly as stupid in her mind than in your own. That was probably what convinced her to keep that one for herself and feel shameful about it. She was wearing her usual orange overalls, because this was a job, not a road trip. She got closer to Brann, yes that was what she was told his name was. "You are Brann yes? Lets go so we are not late" at the word late her eyes widened in a slightly worried expression. She didn't know what happened in those types of missions if you got there late or early. She was really inexperienced for this type of job, and that was another reason why Brann was here. She actually knew how to drive, but Brann's presence was to guarantee two things: That they both got back, and that the right weapons came back with them. "Do you want to drive?" she questioned, getting closer to their ride.

[googlefont="Amatic SC"] Accidents Happen And so do I Rewire, wire, rewire again until you get the right combination. She should have taken a break a while ago, but she was the stubborn type. She knew Enigma's head wasn't very fond of her working on stuff that might blow up in people's faces but if she worked on those things at her place, well if it did blow up, her entire shop would be busted and she would be doomed to work here until she could earn enough money to get it back. And with the amount of money Enigma earned these days, it would take a long time. She squinted at the wires, wondering if it was really a red one in her hand and not just her mind playing tricks on her when she heard a faint knocking on the window. She turned off the light quickly and stopped moving until the person behind the window started asking questions. So it wasn't Ryan coming to ask her to stop and get out of the car. No one to come scold her? Vienne raised herself from the car's floor, perhaps a little too fast as she bumped her head on the wheel. A small ouch, escaped her lips as she looked at the wheel, like it wasn't supposed to be there to collide with her head.
She looked at the man through the slightly frosty window with a hand rubbing the side of her head. Who was that already? She didn't recall ever meeting him before. Should he even be there? Vienne wasn't the type to wear any weapons on her despite the fact that everyone else in this warehouse did. She was just playing the card of the innocent mechanics that didn't mean any trouble. And most of the time it worked, giving her peace. Sure people didn't expect much of her and thought of her as that naive woman who just knew how to fix cars and make bombs, but at least she wasn't on anyone's enemy list. Or at least she didn't believe she was. She wanted to roll down the window before remembering that some of those wires might ignite...stuff. So she opened the door, getting out cautiously. She was eerie about that man, wondering if he was here for trouble or not. "Just...fixing stuff." It sounded like this was what she told most of the people when she worked on something that was supposed to blow up at some point. She stood on the gravel floor, crossing her arms. "Are you, new here? I don't recall ever meeting you before." She kept a light tone, but her face showed how she was a little suspicious. The man didn't appear as a threat, but in the back of her head she wondered if she should ask someone else, wake up Ryan and ask him if that dude was safe or not. Uh, wake up Ryan, that sounded like the worst death wish one could possibly have around here.

[googlefont="Amatic SC"] Accidents Happen And so do I
It was rather early in the morning and there was a a rather silent atmosphere ruling over the warehouse. Was it what? Six o'clock in the morning? It was still dark that was for sure, and in winter the sun doesn't get up until around 9 am. There was a smoking car in the back of the warehouse, creating an interesting wave of heat and creating perhaps what was the only 'big' sound around. Vienne wasn't supposed to be there. It wasn't like she wasn't allowed here, but more like usually she worked at her own place. But this time was different for many reasons. One of which was that she was working on a bomb prototype. Bomb prototypes were just how they sounded: Dangerous and hazardous. Vienne was sitting inside the car, curled up with a nice winter coat on, half asleep and fiddling with wires under the car's wheel. She had moved the driver's seat as far away from the wheel as she could without having to completely remove it. She rested her feet on the seat, a torch light stuck between her teeth as she worked on the wiring.
Obviously, the woman had been working on all of this for a while. Changing the wiring, sticking explosives in the engine, making sure there was the exact right amount to only ignite the fuel inside so only the car blows up and not its surrounding. It was supposed to be a distraction explosive, to hurt only the target and no one else. Vienne didn't usually like those types of things, even when everyone tried to convince her that the target was threatening their 'family' and that he truly deserved what was coming to him. But she usually complied to doing those jobs, because if she didn't do it, who knew what moron will get the job and blow everything up like some megalomaniac.
Vienne paused, looking at the wires and taking the light torch out of her mouth. She was feeling like she forgot something, something rather important but she couldn't remember what. There was some music playing in the car, keeping her awake instead of making her sleep. Also a lot of coffee had been used to get this far. She knew that if she fucked up something then it was most likely everything will have to be restarted, with a new car because there will be no old one to use anyway.
