❝ Got a Smoke? ❞ It looked like Ryan was drunk....again.... He sent someone who couldn't even drive to check for the gun shipment, the gun shipment which was across half the town. ""What was he even thinking?"" It was pure luck that Smoke was passing by. Well, luck is a relative term. ""Do I really have to drive her there? Don't you have any oh I don't know DRIVERS?"" Brann thought as he listened for the location where the shipment had arrived.
It was for the better that he was sent to check this shipment. He did have a knack for this kind of stuff and if the need arose he could defend him and the other Enigma member. She was in her late twenties from the looks of it, older than Brann was in any case.
He didn't have time to pick up any more serious equipment than he already had, so the assault rifle and the shotgun had to do for now. He could always "borrow" his enemy's guns if he needed to. He didn't really expect he was going to use any of the firearms. He went ahead to the garage and waited for the arrival of Vee, the Enigma mechanic which had been at the wrong place at the wrong time in front of the wrong person. Smoke was pretty confused how one could repair a car but couldn't drive it, but then again he didn't have even the slightest idea how to fix a vehicle.
The garage was pretty big even considering how many cars were stored in it. the faint smell of exhaust fumes and oil tainted the otherwise clear air. It looked like the mechanic didn't take her job very seriously if there were this many cars broken. He wasn't going to comment on it though, each had his part of the scheme.

[googlefont="Amatic SC"] Fix what? Nothing is broken! Doing a job she really didn't want to do. That's pretty much how one could describe Vienne's feeling about the job Ryan had thrown upon her shoulders. It's not that she didn't want to do a service for Enigma, but rather: She didn't want to get involved with firearms. However she understood why she was asked to do it. Compared to most people in Enigma, she looked innocent and not very bright. The type of person you wouldn't expect retrieving a stash of weapons for the entire Enigma family. Her mission was to drive out of town, meet with their contact and get the weapons. Payment had already been given, but that was the risk. Their contact could decide they didn't want to give away the weapons and betray their engagement, thus Vienne's presence. She was lucky enough that she was to be paired with another Enigma member to get help in case that situation happened. To be fairly honest, the mechanics woman was very anxious about this and had already prepared a tiny grenade...just in case.
She made her way to the 'garage' area of the warehouse, where her 'partner' was already waiting. It wasn't someone she had met before, but she had been told he was a good marksman, with a sniper that is. But hell was he tall. He was fifty centimeters taller than her at least! As she got closer and kept in a few words along the line of, lets go Everest. Yes it sounded exactly as stupid in her mind than in your own. That was probably what convinced her to keep that one for herself and feel shameful about it. She was wearing her usual orange overalls, because this was a job, not a road trip. She got closer to Brann, yes that was what she was told his name was. "You are Brann yes? Lets go so we are not late" at the word late her eyes widened in a slightly worried expression. She didn't know what happened in those types of missions if you got there late or early. She was really inexperienced for this type of job, and that was another reason why Brann was here. She actually knew how to drive, but Brann's presence was to guarantee two things: That they both got back, and that the right weapons came back with them. "Do you want to drive?" she questioned, getting closer to their ride.

❝ Got a Smoke? ❞ The woman in front of him in that moment was to be his partner in the following mission. ""I don't know how she'll be of any help though"" Brann thought while nodding at her to acknowledge his name. "I'll start driving, but if anything happens you'll have to take the wheel while I take care of the problem, okay miss?" Smoke said with a bit of surprise at her question. It meant that she can also drive by herself. "I don't think anything like that will happen but it never hurts to plan things out. Also I'm not sure about your abilities but I think it for the better if you just get out of my way in case of danger" Smoke added while taking the driver's seat, not waiting for a reply. ""It was more of a suggestion really, but she can do whatever she likes, though I won't hold myself responsible anymore if she doesn't listen to me"".
Being used to this sort of mission Brann didn't think about arriving a little earlier or later as a hinderance. He wanted everything to go without any deviation from the plan whatsoever but if the need arose he could improvise on the spot. ""You don't live 13 years as a hitman if your train of thought gets derailed at every sudden turn."" He thought as he drove out of the warehouse and towards the highway which in turn led towards the dock. The guns were supposed to be stashed near there at an abandoned location from which they would pick them up and return into Enigma territory.
But as fate has it you never know what can actually happen. Their mission could have been sabotaged by the Bianchi's or an ambush could have been set for their car...instead of any of this happening, while they were half across the highway a sudden loud sound boomed and the car steadily came to a halt. Out of all of fate's twist a flat tire was the most unexpected of all.

[googlefont="Amatic SC"] Fix what? Nothing is broken! So he was driving and also calling her miss. Calling her miss under no circumstance, no matter how tall he is. She may be small but she wasn't the type to let people walk on her feet. "Yes you can take care of the problem, but don't call me miss." one bad point for Brann, they better not stack up. She climbed into the car, sitting in the passenger seat. The way the man behaved made her hold back her habit of putting some music on. He partner in this wasn't supposed to be intimidating, and she had hoped that she could befriend the person working with her. But here, she was more afraid to speak and annoy the man. Add to that the stress of the mission and you get a very quiet Vienne. He had told her nothing bad should happen but she just didn't believe him. And she already felt useless. She was the little prey to deal with the predators so they don't feel threatened. It already felt like the world was ruled by predators anyway. Or at least the word she lived in was. It made sense in a way, no prey would be able to get up in the food chain in they didn't look pr act menacing. Vienne was neither, and so she stayed at the bottom, invisible to most but still lively.
The ride wasn't very long until something ended up going wrong. Out of all the things that could have happened, you wouldn't imagine that a flat tire would be one of them. The car started to turn slowly towards the side of the flat tire as Brann drove the car to the side to get them on the side of the road. Stuck on the highway. Now that was just great. Vienne wasn't even sure the car had a spare wheel in the trunk. If there wasn't any, then they were good for cancelling the trip or calling for help. But cancelling...what would happen if they cancelled? She needed to focus on that flat tire before getting too freaked out about the situation. "Dammit why?!" she whined before opening the door to get out, paying attention to the cars around still driving at a high speed. She crouched next to the flat tire with furrowed brows and a disappointed look. Biting her lip nervously she went to the back of the car to open the trunk and hopefully find a tire inside, and what they would need to change it, or fix the hole. In some more recent cars they had a special kit to coat the inside of the wheel in latex to fix the hole. But she doubted this car still had that kit.
After opening the trunk, she had to move away all the bags and boxes they were going to use to hide the guns, and that was the moment she realized how dangerous what she was about to do was. She shooed the thought away. Too late now Vee. She found a wheel! That was a very good news, but now was the question if there was something to keep the car up to change that wheel. And she got less luck on that one. Nothing, except perhaps Brann's arms. They could try to find enough big rocks on the side of the road to keep the car lifted. Silly idea really. Nope she would have to be persuasive and ask her partner to help wanting it or not. She took out the tools to change the wheel and started to remove the bolts holding the wheel in place in a rather fast series of motions. She then looked at Brann, getting up from her crouching position to desperatly try to be as tall as the man's chest. Even when a mouse stands on its hind legs it's still pretty tiny. "Do you think you could carry the car for two seconds? Two real seconds not two minutes. Maybe three seconds at most." yes she could change wheels that fast, no big deal.
