Even though her father didn't care that much if she knew how to fight, she ended up either training herself or taking herself somewhere to be trained by some other person. At the age of 18, Cass applied for the job of a banker of a really expensive, poewrful, and popular bank. With the money she earned from that job, she was able to pay for the best lessons money could get in Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Karate, and even boxing, becoming very skilled in all of them. Once she was old enough, she finally quit the boring job and left Portugal, flying into Chicago. She applied for the job of a Bounty Hunter, the owner being Cole Orzalts. Even though, at first, Cole only hired her because of her looks and 'sexiness', he soon grew to like how she worked and then paid her for her work and not just her looks, since she caught almost every guy she was assigned to get. Unsurprisingly she joined the Banchi mafia group, becoming their mercenary, or private bounty hunter. Cassie smirked slightly, looking at her pet with a loving and amused expression in her eyes. She was heading towards the office where she got most of her cases. Even though she was one of the best bounty hunters there, her family still didn't take her seriously. It angered her. The woman sighed as she came to the office door and opened it, the door bell ringing as it opened. Cole, the boss of the business, smiled at her and welcomed her in, "Ahh, welcome Cassie!" he said, waving at her. She smiled, smirking slightly, and walked up to the desk, Cole behind it. Cole wasn't too much older than her, maybe a few years, about her brothers' age, and she knew the man had always had a small crush on her. She smiled, "So, what bastard am I hunting today?" The woman asked the question in her usual, quite sexy, Brazilian Portuguese accent, running a hand through her hair. Cole blushed, apparently thinking she was flirting, but he hurried and grabbed the folder, handing it to her. Cassie took it and opened it, reading it while he spoke to her, "Jay Blake. There is a $50, 000 reward on him..." he said, and she immediately looked up at the price. "$50,00? What did he do to be so special?" she asked, confusion in her gaze. He nodded, smirking, "I knew you'd like him... Well, he stole a pretty expensive jewel and, believe it or not, they want him, and don't care if he's alive... or dead" he said, obviously quite intrigued himself. She nodded, "Thank you, Cole" she said, quite happy she got a highly wanted person and smiled at him before turning around and walking to the door, walking out. The lady looked at Blade, smirking again, "Looks like we'll make a lot of money today, Blade" she said, the owl letting out a small screech in reply. |
