[attr="class","naen"]Goodbye Israel, hello Chicago.
Or at least ,that was what Blackwood was supposed to say now, as this was her first real day on this new continent. And god damn they had warm weather. It didnt compare with Israel's heat waves, but it felt a bit like home. That alone, made Ruby dislike the place a little bit. She had been so glad to get away from her home, her father, her guilt and dead family, that even though the plane had landed with her yesterday, she still felt euphoric. An almost 21 years old Ruby, stepping out of the house and facing the world on her own.
What most would call, the American dream.
She called bullshit on that one. She didnt fly (or get sent) here to follow some idiotic path of a pre-teen, but to follow her dear father's orders in Chicago, where he yet had no agents. The Isaeli mafia was where you least expected it, apparently. And with jet lag killing most of yesterday's eagerness, Ruby had twice the will today to just rebel against her abba and do whatever the fuck she wanted. At least for a day.
The first thought that crossed her mind, was to go out and kill someone, or maybe go on a pocketing spree. But really, that's not how you feel welcomed. Well, not in here anyway. So then the second option came, involving lots of alcohol and a possible one night stand. If the guy was lucky.
After wandering around the new streets for like 10 minutes, Ruby stumbled upon a restaurant kind of place, and thought it was worth a shot at trying out some drinks. She just wanted to forget about the past days, was it too much to ask? Of course not. The blonde walked in shily, watching as there was only a man managing some sort of guest or reservation book, at a small table, and then a black, long curtain behind him. What was this place, again? She didnt just walk in a strip club, did she? No, there was no music and no men pointing guns around. Or maybe that was just Tel Aviv.
"Shalom." She managed to greet the man, with her thick accent. She didnt get the chance to form another word though, that the guy raised his head and smiled at her, stepping to the side and extending his arm, offering his hand. "After me, miss." He waited for Ruby to grab his hand, and she curiously (yet cautiously) did so, before he lead her behind the dark curtain. The room there was pitch black, you couldnt see shit even if it was glued to your retina. Ruby's eyes widened, trying to get used to the complete darkness, but failing as there was no source of light. The man lead her to a random table, and told her to "enjoy the blind date" (which kind of unsettled Red, for some reason) before leaving her there, with a stranger.
Wait, what?? She had no idea where she came through, how would Blackwood get out of here? What if this was some ambush? She needed to go out now. She was out of her comfort zone, and disliked it. But still, her stubborn nature got the best of the blonde once again. Her hands got placed on the table, legs crossing underneath it and she looked ahead at even more darkness, feeling weird as hell right now. But there was someone else at the table, she could hear their breathing. "Um..hi." Jeez, that was lame. Any chance she could get out of there now? Not like anyone would see her sneaking anyway.

[attr="class","ndsf"]The secret side of me
I never let you see
I keep it caged
But I can't control it
So stay away from me
The beast is ugly
I feel the rage
It's scratching on the walls
In the closet, in the halls
It comes awake
And I can't control it
I never let you see
I keep it caged
But I can't control it
So stay away from me
The beast is ugly
I feel the rage
It's scratching on the walls
In the closet, in the halls
