[✿] ..my pretty sleeper.. [✿]
Natalie breathed a slow sigh. Well, it was better than getting busted by a guard. Her eyes flickered over him in uncertainty, and she lightly dulled the blinding light of the flash light. It was a lot better than being caught in her opinion. She, luckily, had never been caught -- at least, until now. She had a good reputation of getting what she wanted, though, this seemed different. It was obvious this guy that she was standing just a few feet from came here for something. It couldn't be the same thing she had come for! .. Right?
Turning her head slowly toward the box, she points and clears her throat. "I just came here to search this box." The masked woman states firmly, her eyes turning to him slowly. If there wasn't anything good in it, she'd just search the others until she found something that would sell for a pretty penny. Or at least, that had been her train of thought before she came toe to toe with another .. robber?
... She was going to have to fight over a mysterious box, wasn't she?

[✿] ..my pretty sleeper.. [✿]
Natalie had made it just 3 feet from where the box was, until she heard noise. It was familiar and made the hair on the back of her neck rise--it was the indistinguishable sound of a person. 'Shit,' she could only think to herself, frozen in place with a hand settled on the holster of her gun. For a tense half minute she didn't breathe, and stood as still as a statue with her pale eyes staring from behind her black and white harlequin mask. As her gaze adjusted to the darkness, she made out the very faint outlines of perhaps a head and shoulders roughly ten feet away. 'No one was supposed to be here! It's mid shift!' Nat angrily hissed internally, her right hand curling it's fingers around the stock of her gun. With a fluid and well practiced swing of her arm the gun was pointed in the direction of the figure, and she made quick work to flick on the small light on the side of the handgun's barrel.
Stark, white light filled the room--Natalie found herself wincing. It was oddly tempting to just blindly fire, but she knew better. She was more disciplined and hardened than to let anxiety win and to begin making so much noise that she'd just bring more on her hands. So instead, as her eyes opened she took a cautious step back and let her index finger rest over the curve of the trigger. Beneath the mask she was covered by a full white bodysuit. It was skin tight and hidden majorly by her clothes. The only holes cut into it were two for her eyes and one for her nose. Not even her mouth was revealed. Over her head was a black hood that was a simple extension of the large, black hoodie she wore. Paired with that was torn blue jeans, and a pair of tall, black, leather boots.
This couldn't of gone any worse.

[✿] ..my pretty sleeper.. [✿]
Night set on down town Chicago. Street lights flickered on with their shades of gold and blue, and cars sped from work to homes with bustling families and small children. People said the city never slept, and they were right. Sitting atop a small building, Natalie peered through 'borrowed' binoculars at the warehouse she had been spying on for a week. The guards clocked in and out at 12 every afternoon and evening. They rotated shifts between twelve hands in total. Natalie had seen what was inside that warehouse, she knew well what they kept in there -- and she wanted some of it.
Slowly she adjusts her mask over her face. It was a Mardi Gras harlequin mask styled in black and white--split down the center. She wore it with a large, baggy hoodie. With a light slip of her right and dominant hand into her pocket, Natalie allowed herself to run her thumbs over the hunting knife she hid. With a slow breath in she departed from the top of the building and down the stairs, she turned her eyes up quickly and made way to the alley.
Beside the warehouse there was a metal stairway that lead up to a window. It was a fire exit. The thing probably hadn't been used in ten years, judging the appearance of the building itself. So all she had to do now was properly bust in and take what she wanted. Now, she wasn't dumb enough to be noisy with this. She'd done her work of information on who exactly protected the building, and she didn't want any bad business.
So with a long breath she undid the screws that held the window in place. With two careful, black gloved hands, she removes the window in utter silence and sets it down beside her on the metal balcony. With elegance and swiftness, the masked thief swung her legs one at a time through the window. Her eyes flicked through the dark and she carefully jumped down from the windowsill.
With a deep breath she sheathes her knife back into her pocket and swipes a palm over the back of her belt in which she hid her gun. With quiet confidence she advances silently toward a box.
