Dakota sat on the couch drinking a cup of coffee as he filed through paperwork that had needed done. He sighed, and laid back completely exhausted from work, and needed sleep, but unfortunately, sleep was nearly impossible for him to obtain, so he drank coffee, and worked all night.
His apartment was small, barely anything was even in the room. He had a love seat, a couch, and a chair with a young pitbull laying in it. The room held a small library filled with older books. It looked as if he made an attempt for no one to know anything about him. The apartment was out of place in the awful building, it was clean, and looked as if he repaired it recently. There was a tool box sitting by the couch, and a bloody rag on top of it, he had cut himself open, but he had the wound dressed, and performed stitches on himself.
He heard a knock on the door, and stood up. He hadn't paid rent yet, and it was getting about that time. He grabbed an envelope full of cash from the table, and walked up to the door. "SJ, chill," he told his dog when he started to stand, but the animal slumped into the chair, and rested his head down. He opened the door to see @noelle standing in front of him.

Noelle had only just left the hospital. Her shift had ended and after several hours of being on her feet, she was extremely exhausted. However, she had made plans for this evening for herself, and she planed to keep them. So, climbing into her car she began the drive from the hospital to Dakota's apartment.
Pulling up outside, she parked and got out. Royal blue scrubs adorned her body with white sneakers. Her short dark hair was pulled back out and minimal makeup covered her pale skin. It had been awhile since she had heard or seen from him and so that was how she decided she'd drop in on him and see how he was. Coming up to his door, she knocked firmly and checked her phone for the time. Sliding it back into her pocket she looked up when the door opened. "Hey," she offered a smile then glanced down at the envelope. "I see you've got my payment ready, so where are we doing this?" She joked with a small chuckle.
"I just wanted to stop by and see how you were doing and that you weren't dead on the floor of your apartment because you couldn't make it to a phone on time." Noelle explained her intentions and slid her hands into her pockets and gave a slight shrug looking up at him.
